Recently, Beijing unveiled The Water Cube. Could this venue, for the Beijing Olympics, be one of the most amazing structure ever built? I am pretty amazed from the images I seen from Reuters. It took 3 years to build and the outcome is just spectacular. It’s definately one of the most unique structures that I’ve ever seen. What’s inside? Well, It’s just one giant swimming pool …surrounded by bubble wrap. It’s also said that the building will look better at night but I wasn’t able to find any images on how it may look like luminated. It suppose to be have a “kaleidoscope of color” effect. If you’re in Beijing or surrounding areas and want to check out something cool, I think visiting The Water Cube is a must. Take some photos and submit them to us. I really want to see how it looks up close and especially at night. Oh, one more thing. Can someone tell me if this bubble wrap building is soft?! I just want to walk up to it and poke it.
