Travels in Spain- Barcelona Flamenco Show
Travels in Spain - Barcelona Flamenco Show
This past April, while I was studying abroad in London for the semester, my friends and I went on a Eurotrip for four weeks straight. With just the backpacks we had on our backs, and ended up seeing 6 countries and 10 cities in those four weeks.
Our first stop was Spain, and we decided to see a Flamenco show in Barcelona since we heard they were amazing. It cost about 25 euros, which is about $40, but was completely worth it. It was an absolutely perfect night… We were served a traditional Spanish meal– paella, as well as Sangria, before the show began.
After seeing the careful technique and passion that the dancers put into the dancing, I was amazed. Many of the dancers were working so hard that you could see the sweat flying off their bodies and onto the stage. The only way to describe the intensity and concentration of these dancers is to see it for yourself. If you get the chance…go to SPAIN and see a flamenco show!!
