Cuisine of Barcelona

The culinary reputation of Barcelona, and of the whole region of Catalonia, is very strong. That’s why student travelers who are on a tight budget must plan their meals carefully because many of the restaurants in Barcelona are expensive. However, in wine bars you can order simple classic Barcelona food (typically has olive oil, garlic, and tomato) that are reasonably priced, or you can also go vegetarian because there are lots of affordable vegetarian options in the city. There’s also abundance of seafood because of the city’s proximity to the Mediterranean.
