Street Food of Manila

Filipino cuisine is simply delicious and irresistible, and it’s available in numerous Filipino restaurants in the city. However, if you want some adventure, you can try the common Filipino street food found almost in every corner of Manila. Try eating balut (boiled duck embryo), isaw, helmet, adidas, and betamax (grilled chicken intestines, head, feet, and blood, respectively), or kwek kwek (boiled quail eggs covered in a batter and deep fried). American fastfood chains (McDonalds, Wendy’s, Pizzahut, etc.) abound, and there are also a number of Chinese and Japanese restaurants.
