Pack Like a Pro

Everyone dreads packing, but here are a few helpful tips to make this tedious process stress-free and easy.

1. Although you should try to pack lightly, it’s much better to have too much than to little so don’t sacrifice that extra pair of socks or zip-up because who knows what might come up.

2. Since airline security became stricter, make sure to review the new rules on what liquids can and cannot be taken aboard. The last thing you want is to have to rummage through your suitcase at check-in taking things out. I highly recommend buying liquids such as shampoo and lotion at your destination because not only will you be saving room in your suitcase for more things, but also don’t need to stress about the airline guidelines.

3. Always prepare for obstacles like airlines losing your luggage. Although they’re sometimes found, it usually take atleast a few days. I recommend packing a few essentials in your carry-on like a pair of underwear, socks, toothbrush and travel toothpaste, contacts (if applicable), and any other mandatory items you usually can’t go a day without.

4. If you’re taking a short trip, try to bring all your things in a carry-on. Ofcourse this means you will need to really plan what you bring due to limited space, but this will eliminate any chances of losing your luggage.

5. Make sure to label all your luggages and bags with detailed contact information. This is what will most likely help you get back your luggage if lost or misplaced.
