When in Their Lives Do Most People Travel?

There are certain periods in one’s life when they just feel the need to travel and explore the world a bit, or just need to get away from it all and see something new. Year Long Travels
-Gap Year: Students take off a year to travel after they have completed highschool, college or university. People learn a lot about themselves during this experience, while meeting and becoming closer with others. Students range from age 18-22 when taking their gap year.

-Mid 20’s Crisis: Young people who are starting to get serious with their careers and are paying off college loans, suddenly realize that what they are doing is not what they want to do for their whole lives. Also, they learn that life isn’t all about working and feel the need to go somewhere and do something for themselves.

-Pre-Kids Splurge: Couples who have been working for years and want to spend more time getting to know each other and see the world a little before the stress of having children fall into this category.

-Mid Life Crisis- Whether people are depressed, just got divorced, or are having problems figuring out what they really want out of life, they travel to put their lives into some perspective.
