The Pink Palace in Corfu, Greece!
The Pink Palace is simply made for college students and chill travelers out to have a great time. If you are taking a trip to the Greek islands, definitely stop at Corfu and stay at the Pink Palace. There’s not that much to do on the island of Corfu, but it’s a great place to go to relax on the beach (which is a 5-min walk from the hotel) or rent ATV’s for the day (my friends & I below).
The nice part about this place is that everyone knows everyone staying there, and all the people that work there are friends. It’s like a big family that welcomes you into their house. The rooms are very clean and open, and you even get a balcony with a view of the ocean. I’m not sure how much it was, but I remember it being pretty cheap to stay there as well. Another awesome thing is that they make you a deliciously excellent dinner every night (included in the price) and everyone eats together in one big dining room. They give you huge portions, with soup, salad, a main meal– and you are stuffed. There’s also happy hour every single day for a few hours when most drinks are 1-2 euros.
They have toga parties as well, which I hear are a lot of fun, but I didn’t go in the right season for it. Be sure to go to Corfu in May or June, when the weather will definitely be nice and there will be minimal rain. The only other thing I’d mention is that the lower part of the Pink Palace is a bit run down and not really used, which is fine because the rooms you stay in are a little higher up on the hill. It would be nice if they renovated the run down buildings and expanded their rooms though. I had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here with your friends
and making new ones!

Yep, totally agree. Anyone who goes to Corfu and is under the age of 40 has to check this place out. I stayed for two weeks (the biggest lie you’ll ever tell is that you are “leaving the Palace tomorrow”) . My best memory ever? ….
I arrived like many others (a dodgy taxi speeding along the cliffs of Corfu), (not the Pink Bus for me) from the main harbour of Corfu.
The next thing I know I’m sitting at a plastic table next to a twenty-something year-old mother with her 5 year old daughter in tow. I’m trying to make the little girl laugh and ultimately succeed which is great cause the mom is CUTE. Then we ALL get served a shot of the famous “Pink Ouzo” by the “Doc” (and that includes the little girl [yep she's FIVE!!]).
About two hours later I am walking to the jacuzi to have a soak and out pops the little girl, pink bathing suit and blow-up armbands, dragging a pink lilo and, yep, she’s a bobbing and a weaving her drunk ass off towards the beach. Smashed out of her mind on Pink Ouzo and shes only 5, classic!
That night’s best memory? Shagging with the cute mom in my mixed dorm without a care in the world and hearing the moans of at least five other couples. (Little girl had one hell of a hangover the next morning, poor dear!)
It’s one of those places you never forget, and yet seem to never repeat!
Good luck!!!!
