It’s the end of August and though it might seem a little crazy, guess what… now is the time to buy your Thanksgiving ticket. Cheap student flights might not be so cheap in October or November. This is why: Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel periods of the year, but though demand increases exponentially supply doesn’t. The result? A lot of people competing for the same seats and increasing prices. But paying a little more isn’t actually the worst case scenario, wait too long and you might not even find availability. Some of us can drive or take the train home to see family and friends, but if you need to fly, well you should buy your ticket sooner rather than later.
