Whether it’s your first or last spring break you probably want to have some serious fun this time. There are ways to save if you want to go beyond the road trip or beyond the domestic trip. Not that there’s anything wrong with partying in the likes of Miami, NYC or San Francisco, but if you really want to put your passport to use…. continue reading. You know how a lot of students buy spring break packages? How about building your own spring break? Find a student flight and search for a cheap hotel or hostel - you can “build” your own break very easily and you’ll save a lot of money. It’s not like it’s hard and it’s not like you can’t go where everyone else is going. Think about it! On second thought, don’t think about it… set aside five minutes to search and see how much you can save (imagine what you could do with the money). You could go to Europe or Asia and experience a lot more than you would on the Redneck Riviera. It’s not free, but if you build your own break it could actually be a lot cheaper than you think. Student travel is all about experiencing something new, it’s up to you to choose what that is.
