Wombat’s Hostels: Berlin, Munich & Vienna
My two favorite things about this hostel are the comfortable lounge area made of all pillows where you could take a nap if you’d like, and the fact that there was a very nice bar located right in the hostel with happy hour, so you never had to leave if you didn’t want to.

Why time zones blow: Part 2
Now try living in South Dakota on the time zone border. You get up at 8:00 am, take 45 minutes to get ready, 15 minutes to drive to work and arrive at 8:00 am. You go home for lunch at 12:00 pm and arrive at 1:15 pm, 15 minutes away. After 30 minutes of eating and 15 minutes of driving back, you get back to work at 1:00 pm.

What a pain in the ahem, excuse me. Seriously though, what moron thought of this crap? Yeah sure, it would be weird if time was the same everywhere and 11 am meant late morning here and late evening half way around the world but it would be so much less hassle.
