Party Hardy in Oslo
The nightlife in the city centre is very good, but expect to pay about NOK 60 for a pint at any popular bar or club. A glass of wine will run you about the same, but there are areas with more reasonable prices. Norwegian students usually join for what they call “vorspiel” (German) which is a pre-party, for more than one reason – alcohol is expensive (cheaper in the supermarkets) and people don’t arrive early at bars/clubs.
